Steven Adams

Steven Adams got off to a hot start last season with the Thunder.

During the first four months of the season, Adams was on pace to have a career year, averaging over 15 points a game and 10 rebounds.

After the All-Star break, Adams numbers plummeted, specifically his scoring dropped by nearly three points a game and his true shooting by nearly six percent.

Whether it was fatigue or multiple minor injuries that piled up, it was clear Adams wasn’t himself in the second half of last season.

Adams is still one of the better young pieces the Thunder have, and at only 26 years of age, expect the big man to take another subtle leap next season.

Adams best game of the year came on National TV versus the Indiana Pacers in Oklahoma City. Going against one of the best defensive frontcourts in the league in Myles Turner and Thaddeus Young, Adams had everything working in this game.

Stat line:

  • 3-27-19 versus Indiana: 25 points / 12 rebounds / 3 assists / 2 steals (11-14 shooting)

Additional Performances:

  • 12-14-18 at Denver: 26 point / 14 rebounds / 2 block (11-20 overall)
  • 12-19-18 at Sacramento: 20 points / 23 rebounds / 2 steals (8-12 shooting)
