Hamidou Diallo
Like Burton, Hamidou Diallo is also another favorite among Thunder fans.
After being traded for by the Thunder on draft night, Diallo continually impressed throughout Summer League and the offseason. As a result of this, he got the chance to play real minutes on opening night versus the defending champion Golden State Warriors.
However, not all things went well for Diallo last season. He was inactive for the Thunder’s final 31 games of the season due to his struggles on the court and a variety of injuries.
Diallo didn’t make a three the rest of the season after November, as his shooting went ice-cold.
When he was at his peak though, Diallo provided the Thunder with a high-motor, high athleticism guy off the bench who would run in transition with Russell Westbrook and Paul George.
In a back and forth game versus the Kings, Diallo started in place of Terrance Ferguson and turned out the best game of his career, finishing with 18 points on 7-7 shooting in only 22 minutes.
