Abdel Nader

Thunder fans are divided between Abdel Nader. One moment he looks like a competent NBA player, hitting open threes, driving to the rim with ease, the next, well he’s completely useless out on the floor.

After being acquired from the Celtics in the offseason, Nader had his highs and his lows with the team.

In 43 of his 61 games played last season, Nader shot below 50 percent from the field.

After the Thunder decided to keep Nader this offseason, you have to assume that they expect him to play rotation minutes for the time like he did last season.

Although it wasn’t his best game of the season, who could forget Nader’s contributions in OT in one of the best Thunder games of the season last year?

Nader’s best game of the season came against the San Antonio Spurs at home, where he finished with 15 points on a perfect night from the field in only 17 minutes off the bench.

Stat line:

  • 1-12-19 versus San Antonio: 15 points / 2 rebounds / 2 assists (6-6 overall, 1-1 from three)

Additional Performances:

  • 1-21-19 at New York Knicks: 16 points / 6 rebounds / 2 assists / 2 steals (6-9 overall, 2-3 from three)
  • 12-28-18 at Phoenix: 18 points / 5 rebounds (7-13 overall, 2-4 from three)
