Hip hop heads all understand the importance Brooklyn has to the culture. The Brooklyn Nets introduced the “City” jerseys last year to efficacious reception. The beauty of these jerseys is the story it tells and the nostalgia it invokes.

Fans of Biggie Smalls can recall his signature Coogi sweaters that he often wore. Kyrie Irving may have made his decision to join Brooklyn after the release of these bad boys. With recent legal trouble between Coogi and Nike, it’s unclear how it will affect their frequency this upcoming season.

No. 7 Utah Jazz – Classic

I hope you didn’t miss seeing retro jerseys on this list because it would be incomplete without mentioning these 90’s juggernauts. The Utah Jazz made great use of the classic mountain jerseys. Recalling the extraordinary stretch where they were mere games away from an NBA title.

These babies are most identifiable with being worn by one of the most iconic pick and roll duos of All-Time – John Stockton and Karl Malone. At Utah’s peak, they wore these jerseys and were considered the best team in the entire Western Conference. Mike Conley and Donavan Mitchell hope to forge their own legacies in the same colors.
