2019 FIBA World Cup Group C preview: Spain has an easy path to second round

The FIBA World Cup starts August 31st and runs until September 15th. In preparation, TI breaks down each of the eight groups with Group C is up next.

Although Group A of the 2019 FIBA World Cup could be designated as the easier Group C sure does offer a great opportunity for Spain to advance easily into the second round.

The following outlines the team rosters, first-round match times and dates and where the teams are projected to finish.

One of the squads in this grouping (Spain) has several existing and former NBA players and is always considered a favorite to win the World Cup. The nations enter the tournament with Puerto Rico ranked 30th, Iran ranked 25th, Tunisia ranked 14th and Spain is ranked 4th.
