3 Takeaways from the OKC Thunder Blue and White scrimmage
By Rylan Stiles
Darius Bazley might be more ready than we think
Again, it is just a scrimmage, these lineups are probably meaningless but Darius Bazley got to play with the white team that was comprised of mostly projected starters.

Notably, not only was Dre out, but SGA will eventually be a starter. I believe the logic behind him being on the Blue team was for him to be defended by Dennis Schroder and Chris Paul rather than a less experienced player.
While getting to share the floor with Steven Adams, Chris Paul, Danilo Gallinari, and Schroder, the rook Bazley looked right at home. His jump shot was seamless and he was not afraid to attack the rim nor his opposition. He displayed a really good feel for the game.
I, among others, thought maybe it would take a while for the OKC Thunder rookie to earn his way into their rotation (and it still might) but today was a step in the right direction.
Up next, the OKC Thunder will clash with the new-look Dallas Mavericks in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the BOK Center. That game will tip-off at 7 p.m. local time and be broadcast on ESPN and streamed throughout the OKC Thunder website and social media platforms.
