Making their point:

The trio of point men all had strong showings with Gilgeous-Alexander continuing to make everything look all too easy as he posted 18 points on 6 of 13 from the field and while his 3-point shot was off he continued to draw fouls, getting to the line for six free throws.

Chris Paul does seem like he hasn’t kicked it into full gear yet but he’s continued to keep everyone involved dropping four dimes but there were numerous set-ups that didn’t fall and some amazing lead passes which are eventually going to hit the mark.

Although Schroder wasn’t putting up big scoring numbers (two points on 1 of 4 shooting) I prefer when he plays like he did this evening. He was more dialed in, getting his court mates shots and the offense flowed because of it. In his limited first-half minutes, he collected five assists and finished the night with one more while adding six rebounds. Again, the lineup with him at the point alongside wings TFerg, Diallo and Burton have genuine chemistry so let’s hope Donovan continues to take advantage of that unit.
