What to expect in the two matches versus Bulls this season:

Like many of the games covered to this point in the team previews the Bulls have one game versus the OKC Thunder prior to the trade deadline and one afterward. Despite this and for as much as I believe the Bulls will be better than most pundits are predicting I still think the Thunder will sweep the series.

The main issue will be stopping Zach LaVine and Lauri Markkanen. With the return of Andre Roberson, he’ll be the perfect option to slow LaVine. As for Markkanen given the lack of other frontcourt scoring threats either Adams or Gallinari or a combination of the duo should be able to slow his production although it will mean covering him in space since he loves to spread the court.

If the Bulls play to their characteristics they should adopt a run and gun style. Unfortunately, the jury remains out on Boylen playing to his team’s strengths. Either way, Thunder fans should be excited to get a glimpse of rookie Coby White.
