One more sleep until our beloved OKC Thunder tip off their 2019-20 season, Two games will kick off the regular season tonight with the Toronto Raptors raising the banner and getting their rings against the Zion-less New Orleans Pelicans. In the West, it’s a battle of Staples Center occupants and our old friend Paul George‘s LA Clippers play the LA Lakers. PG won’t be playing however as he’s set to miss 10 games to start the season.
It feels a bit odd prepping for a new season without Russell Westbrook however, the excitement over this new club is palpable. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is going to impress and help ease our transition to this new OKC Thunder era.
There are so many new faces to get acquainted with and also returnees who will finally have an opportunity to carve out a role within this team and cement a place in the future core.
