Roundtable Sessions- OKC Thunder expectations and former players segment
Tamberlyn Richardson:
The strange thing is I thought after his injury and the move he had turned the corner. Then he made more comments. If he could only stop himself from making these comments I think it would’ve been over long ago.
On the other hand, at least he’s doing it openly whereas certain other former players are saying things behind closed doors but publicly acting like they loved it in OKC for their two seasons (hint).
Rylan Stiles:
No, due to the fact KD can not help himself. If KD would have stopped mentioning OKC in a negative light then this would’ve all died down. Even while he trashes my city and he trashes the organization I am just tired of talking about him. So if he would’ve stopped taking shots at the Thunder this offseason I think it would’ve been over. But instead, he has to keep the vitriol alive.
Aidan E:
I would say so, only because I don’t have to see the Warriors dominating the NBA every year.
Chase Beal-Sharp:
Yes, it does because he went to a franchise that has not had recent success.
Matthew Hallet:
No, he left OKC the way he did because he was scared if OKC got anything back for him they would compete for the title he was so desperate for. The organization has been making big gambles to stay relevant but that decision has caused this rebuild.
Kevon Stewart:
I think so. Now that the animosity has died down, we can see KD for the talented Hall of Fame caliber superstar he is. Regardless of how you feel about his decision, he was a phenomenal talent. The fan perception in his return is a big reason he didn’t consider coming back to OKC in free agency. So let’s show him some respect.
