Losing Zion Williamson for up to six weeks wasn’t exactly how the Pelicans hoped to begin the post Anthony Davis era.

And, while the Pelicans were winless in week one there were glimpses of what the team could be with Zion.

The biggest oddity is the numerous shooting guards on the club. With a lack of depth at both forward positions, it means Alvin Gentry will need to utilize one of his five shooting guards as a small forward.
