Rebounding.

Paul has always been solid on the glass for a player of his size. He has managed to average more than four rebounds per game in his entire career except for two seasons. This is an incredible level of consistency.

More from Thunder News

CP3 is not afraid to take on players more than a foot taller than him. He is able to get the rebound and start the fast break, increasing the pace the game is played at, allowing his team to get out into transition. He is then able to use his precise passing skills to dissect transition defenses.

What is incredible about the number of rebounds Paul is able to collect is the fact he is 6’0″. It is one thing for Russell Westbrook at 6’3″ and insanely athletic or James Harden at 6’5″ to average good numbers but Paul is often the shortest player on the court.

This all points, once again, to the basketball IQ which Paul possesses. He is often in the right place at the right time. His understanding of how far the ball will bounce depending on the distance of the shot is a skill that cannot be underestimated.

Paul has never averaged over 0.9 offensive rebounds per game.but this is not where he excels. Paul sets up the offense, he does not reset it, often.
