Phoenix Suns:

Offense: (111.6) – 5th
Defense: (105.0 ) – 13th
Net: (plus +6.5) – 4th

Record: 7-4
Games Week 4: (1-1) Won vs. Hawks, lost to  Lakers
Games Week 5 (4 games): Mon, Nov. 18 vs Celtics | Tues, Nov. 19 at Kings |  Thurs, Nov. 21 vs. Pelicans |  Sat, Nov 23 vs Nuggets

Although it’s still early in the season the Suns appear to be the real deal and much of their improvement is due to the offseason veteran additions of Ricky Rubio and Aron Baynes.

Yet, the greatest factor in the Suns’ improvement has to be the coaching job Monty Williams is doing. Listen to Devin Booker speak after a win or a loss and you feel the effect his new coach has made on the team. It doesn’t hurt the Suns are winning as his message is easier to deliver and get buy-in with wins but it’s had a very noticeable effect.

Thunder fans know what an incredible person and coach Williams is from the time he spent with OKC and I’m sure everyone joins me in being happy for his success in Phoenix.
