Everyone raves about rookie Ja Morant yet kudos are due to new Memphis Grizzlies Head Coach Taylor Jenkins for inspiring his young charges to compete and arrive nightly with the perfect attitude.
While some of the young clubs seem to be pressing this Grizzlies squad is having fun and shocking teams by winning in spite of their opponents underestimating them.
Granted there is a certain devil may care attitude that comes when there is no pressure to win which might change if the youngsters felt that pressure. That said, Ja Morant doesn’t seem like someone who shies away from the spotlight as his game-winners this season have proven.
Suffice to say Memphis’ growing pains will serve them well as the team builds toward wins that will matter in the future.
