Chicago Bulls

Offense: (104.1) – 27th
Defense: (106.8) –  13th
Net: (minus -2.6 ) – 20th

Record: 6-11
Games Week 5: (2-2) Win vs. Pistons, Hornets lost to Bucks, Heat
Games Week 6 (3 games): Mon, Nov. 25 vs. Blazers | Weds, Nov. 26 at Warriors | Fri, Nov. 28 at Blazers

For a few weeks, I ranted and raved over Lauri Markkanen‘s seeming disappearance from the offense and cited Bulls Head Coach Jim Boylen as the party responsible. Some suggest it’s on Markkanen for not being aggressive enough but again I’ll point you to his shot attempts and the results which correspond.

To that end, this week the Bulls beat Detroit and (shocker) Markkanen scored over 20 points for just the second occasion this season. The result? – victory for Chicago.

Hey, the Bulls might not win every time Lauri scores 20 but he simply has to be included as a factor in the offense if they want to pull themselves up the ladder in the East.

Hat tip to Zach LaVine for connecting on THIRTEEN 3-point attempts versus the Hornets including the buzzer-beating game winner.
