Games Week 5: ( 0-3 ) Lost to Bucks, Pistons, Raptors
Games Week 6 (4 games):  Mon, Nov. 25 vs. Wolves | Weds, Nov. 26 at Bucks | Fri, Nov. 28 at Pacers | Sat, Nov. 29 at Rockets

The Hawks bring a six-game losing streak into week six with one victory in their last 10 games. Following the loss in Detroit, the team had a robust session to discuss their effort.

This was remedied in their effort versus the Raptors but facing a superior team with depth and experience it wasn’t quite enough to pull off the upset.

Through all the losing and without the services of John Collins or Kevin Huerter the rookie De’Andre Hunter has stepped up and is showing signs of being a consistent contributor. In the three games this week Hunter broke out with a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds against the Bucks. He followed it up with 18 points, two rebounds and four assists against the Pistons and 26 points, a rebound and four assists versus the Raptors.

His 3-point shot is inconsistent but he makes it in enough to keep defenses guessing which affords him the opportunity to utilize his greater skill of driving to the basket. That he’s also showing adeptness handling the ball is a positive moving forward for when the Hawks get back Huerter and Collins.
