Bradley Beal delivered his fourth 40 point scoring effort of the season and the Wizards shot over 50 percent against Orlando yet the game still resulted in a loss.

The big win in week seven and arguably their best of the season came versus the Philadelphia 76ers. While Philly has the far better squad in terms of talent, depth, and systems they got goaded into playing Wizards ball which is never a great idea.

That’s the interesting sidebar to this squad — you learn just as much about the opponent as you do about the Wizards in their matches. The teams who get baited into Washington’s style are typically young and or undisciplined. Teams who know they have to stay focused defensively easily dispense of the Wizards who won’t play defense unless forced.
