The Jekyll and Hyde team of the NBA continued that identity in week eight with some impressive victories coupled with an equally brutal loss.

Devonte’ Graham continues to assault teams in his sophomore season posting a new career best this week with 40 points against the Brooklyn Nets. Given the dearth of defense Washington provides it’s somewhat shocking that tally didn’t come one game sooner.

James Borrego is getting more out of this roster than anyone predicted and it’s coming primarily from their economical youngsters. But, with news PJ Washington broke a finger that will keep him out a month someone will need to step up. True to this team’s uniqueness Washington has provided arguably the most consistent presence on the court.

Thinking back to when Charlotte signed Nicolas Batum the role he was signed for and his Swiss Army knife skills are debatably what Washington will provide for years to come.
