Keys to the game:

As stated earlier, the Clippers have the talent to burn. Not only is their starting unit incredible defensively, but they can also score. Thunder fans are all too aware of how George can score. His 25.2 points per game are only topped by Kawhi Leonard who is scoring 25.5 points per game.

The offense does not stop there, Lou Williams is scoring 19.4 points and Montrezl Harrell is averaging 19.0 per game. The thing is that both these two players come off the bench. Last season they were the highest scoring bench duo in NBA history.

Thanks mainly to these four players the Clippers are fifth in the league in points scored with 115.2 points per game. The team is also gang rebounding and is second in the league with 48.2 per game.

An area where the Thunder can exploit the Clippers is at the free throw line. They are 25th in the NBA for fouls committed with 22.7 per game. They are also not good at keeping control of the ball. They turn it over 16.3 times per game which is 27th in the NBA.

The key matchup of the game is Dennis Schroder against Lou Williams. Yes, both of these players are from the bench but Williams is the key to the best bench combination in the league. If Schroder can outplay and also frustrate Williams with his defense, one of the biggest strengths the Clippers have will be blunted.
