OKC Thunder: OKC Blue setting historical numbers
The OKC Thunder affiliate the OKC Blue had a better week but is still not back to where they need to be.
In a week where the OKC Blue started to get their season back on track, the OKC Thunder affiliate still went 1-2. However, their games were a lot closer and they got some of their squad back.
During the showcase, the Blue got back Markel Brown for seven and a half minutes per game. Then in the one-point loss to the Aqua Caliente Clippers Brown played fifteen minutes off the bench, scoring 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting.

DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell went back to the bench and as a result, went back to his incredible production. Akoon-Purcell had 25 points on 8-of-15 to go along with nine rebounds.
Abdul Gaddy delivered a double-double with 18 points and 11 assists. In the past week, Gaddy moved into third place on the OKC Blue all-time assists with 499 in his career. He is just 43 assists behind second-place Marquis Teague.
Myke Henry had a solid night scoring 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting. He also had five assists, four rebounds, three blocks, and a steal. The steal moved Henry into an outright tenth on the OKC Blue all-time steals list.
OKC Thunder assignee Justin Patton had one of his better games on the season. He had ten points on 5-of-11 shooting to go along with nine rebounds, five blocks, and four assists. Patton has been protecting the rim so well that he is now second all-time for the OKC Blue with 3.0 blocks per game.
Devon Hall, who recently had his two-way contract retracted for Kevin Hervey. had a bad game. He had eight points, five rebounds, and five assists. While this is a solid game for a G-League player but not one who is trying to get another NBA contract.
This was the closest that the OKC Blue has come to victory without the services of Luguentz Dort who was on assignment with the OKC Thunder.
Let’s hope they can get back into the winners circle more regularly.
