34. . 14-19. Previous: 14th. Portland Trail Blazers. 17. team

Portland Trail Blazers:

Offense: (109.9) 11th
Defense: ( 111.1) 21st
Net: (minus -1.2) 17th

Games Week 10 (0-3): Lost to Pelicans 94-102, Jazz 115- 121, Lakers 120-128
Games Week 11 (4 games): Mon vs Suns | Weds at Knicks | Fri at Wizards | Sun at Heat

Another team who’ve dealt with a myriad of injuries and delivered roller coaster results. Case in point the Blazers followed up an unbeaten week with a winless week and fell off the playoff leader with their loss to start week 11.

Also directly related is the quality of opponent Portland plays and whether they are home or on the road.

The schedule will factor in the next segment as eight of their next 11 games are on the road and 15 of their next 21 games are against current seeds. That’s a deadly combination for a team that struggles in those situations.

Isolating on the 4 win week versus the three loss week Damian Lillard maintained his production. However, CJ McCollum‘s numbers dropped from 29 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals connecting on 45.5 percent from the perimeter in the wins. But in the losses every category dropped to 21 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 0.7 steals, connecting on 26.9 percent from deep.

The second set of numbers isn’t terrible although the perimeter shooting was a factor it’s likely more to do with the better competition and defenders.
