. 23-12. Previous: 11th. Philadelphia 76ers. 11. team. 93

Philadelphia 76ers:

Offense: (109.1) 14th
Defense: (104.6) 6th
Net: (plus +4.5)  8th

Games Week 10 (2-2): Won vs Pistons 125-108, Bucks: 121 -109, lost to Magic 97-98, Heat 116-117 (OT)
Games Week 11 (2 games): Tues at Pacers | Fri at Rockets

It’s almost inexplicable the 76ers can look like the force of nature who absolutely annihilated Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Bucks on Christmas Day and then fall apart in back to back losses to the Magic and Heat.

On paper, they have a better team but games aren’t played on foolscap they are played on the hardwood.

The major issue for the 76ers is clearly their game doesn’t travel and how much of that is tied to the psychological factors remains unanswered.

Entering week 11 Philadelphia owns a 16-2 home record and are 7-10 on the road (as of this posting 7-11 with the Rockets up next also on the road).

Until Brett Brown gets this club to translate their ability outside Philly this is going to be a problem. And you can talk all you want about how the 76ers are built for the playoffs BUT — if they don’t own a home court seed and games come down to clutch time on the road how comfortable are you in believing they’ll power through for the victory?
