26. team. 170. . 13-22. Previous: 23rd. Charlotte Hornets

Charlotte Hornets:

Offense: (105.8) -24th
Defense: (112.6) – 27th
Net: (minus -6.7) – 26th

Games Week 10 (0-2): Lost to Thunder: 102-104 (OT), Grizzlies: 104-117
Games Week 11 (3 games): Tues vs Celtics | Thurs at Cavaliers | Sat at Mavericks

Head coach James Borrego has shown glimpses of what he could do with real talent. However, this team is what is — a lottery bound club.

What does that mean heading toward the trade deadline? Presumably, the Hornets will try to shop Marvin Williams and Bismack Biyombo who are both on expiring contracts. Both could add value to a playoff seed so the Hornets need to strike and get something back for them.

In the interim, the next five games feature three of the East’s best plus a date in Dallas versus Mavericks with a healthy Luka Doncic back in the lineup. Charlotte can’t even rely on automatic win over the easiest of the next five opponents the Cavaliers since they’ve won four of their last five games.

After these five games, the Hornets hit the road for a tough Western Conference four-game venture.

Charlotte begins week 11 on a five-game losing streak and based on their schedule that could easily swell into a double-digit losing streak.
