The OKC Thunder affiliate the OKC Blue got the majority of the players back at the showcase and beyond. As a result, they have been playing much better as a team.

For the first time, this season OKC Thunder assignee Justin Patton came off the bench for the Blue. His replacement at the starting center position for the game was Myke Henry. This was an inspired choice as Henry had a game-high 24 points to go along with nine boards.

The Sioux Falls Skyforce had no answer for the Blue, losing 112-89. Devon Hall had his best game for the season with an 11 point, 14 rebound double-double to go along with six assists. Markel Brown was incredible off the bench with  18 points on 6-of-11 shooting.

The Blue then swept the home and home against the Skyforce, taking the next game 99-92. Luguentz Dort came back from the OKC Thunder varsity squad and had a game-high, 21 points. Kevin Hervey, also back from a stint with the Thunder had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Abdul Gaddy was at his conducting best, dishing out nine assists in the win. It was a really balanced performance from the Blue with six players scoring in double figures. They also had six players with five rebounds or more.

Unfortunately, the way the season has gone for the Blue, what goes up must come down. The second half of the week was not as good.

More from Thunder News

They lost a close one to the Erie Bayhawks 109-107. Hervey sat out the game and Dort shot poorly, going 2-of-13.

Patton helped make up for this, just missing out on a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell had a double-double off the bench with 20 points to go along with 12 rebounds.

The final game of the week saw the Blue suffer another loss. They went down 118-111 against the Capital City Go-Go. Devon Hall managed to score 26 points on an inefficient 10-of-22 shooting. Only Vincent Edwards off the bench was another threat for the Blue, scoring 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting.

It is exciting the Blue went .500 on the week, they are coming back to full health and the wins will follow. Check back here next week for the next OKC Blue roundup and all you OKC Thunder news.
