Defense: (112.7)  27th
Net: (minus -6.5) 26th

Games Week 11 (2-1): Won vs. Cavaliers: 109-106, Mavericks: 120-123, Lost to Celtics: 92-109
Games Week 12 (4 games): Mon vs Pacers | Weds vs Raptors | Fri at Jazz | Sun at Suns

The teeter-totter season of the Hornets continues. A continuing trend is the Hornets string together wins in succession more than single victories.

Case in point, on three occasions this season the Hornets have registered one win then followed it by a minimum of two losses. But on five separate occasions, they’ve produced mini winning streaks of two or three games (twice they’ve won three in a row and three times they’ve won two in a row).

They’ve only beaten teams with records above .500 twice (Pacers, Mavericks) and in both circumstances needed to push those teams to overtime in order to win.

There isn’t a trend of home or road advantages either as their record is similar in either circumstance 7-11 at home and 8-12 on the road. And they’ve won and lost both games of back-to-back sets.

Given their road-heavy itinerary and a fairly difficult strength of schedule perhaps the Hornets are better than initially thought.
