Dallas Mavericks. 12. team. 79. . 22-13. Previous: 13th

Dallas Mavericks:

Offense: (115.3) 1st
Defense: (108.3) 16th
Net: (plus +7.0)  4th

Games Week 11 (1-2): Won vs. Nets: 123-111, Lost to Thunder: 101-106, Hornets: 120-123
Games Week 12 (4 games): Mon vs Bulls | Weds vs Nuggets | Fri vs Lakers | Sat vs. 76ers

Although it wasn’t a great week for the Mavericks, their star Luka Doncic continues to put up impressive performances checking off records along the way.

The prior top triple-double master in Dallas was Jason Kidd. In his rookie season, he delivered four triple-doubles. His second season he amassed nine triple-doubles.  In 55 games prior to getting traded to the Nets he collected two. Therefore in just under three seasons, Kidd registered 15 triple-doubles.

Kidd’s greatest triple-double season was with the 2007-08 Nets when he posted 13. His best season in Dallas and he ranks fourth All-Time ith 107.

Doncic is on pace to shatter those tallies. The Wunderkid posted eight his first season and entering week 12 had nine (he’s since posted his 10th). That already puts him in front of Kidd on the Mavericks.

And, with the youngster’s game seemingly built for triple-doubles there is reason to believe he could do what only Russell Westbrook and Oscar Robinson have done before him.
