. 23-12. Previous: 5th. Utah Jazz. 10. team. 118

Utah Jazz:

Offense: (108.2) 19th
Defense: (105.3) 7th
Net: (plus +2.9) 12th

Games Week 11 (3-0): Won vs Pistons: 104-81, Bulls: 102-98, Magic: 108-96
Games Week 12 (4 games): Mon at Pelicans | Weds vs Knicks | Fri vs Hornets | Sun at Wizards

The Jazz has won five in a row and nine of their last 10 games but during that stretch, the lone loss was to the Heat and only one of the nine teams they defeated possesses a plus .500 record. Granted, teams can only play who is scheduled but is it fools gold to jump on this seeming Jazz ascent?

For example, the Nuggets went on a seven-game win streak and won nine of ten but while they were feasting on lesser talents their second-ranked defense slipped at an uncharacteristically rapid rate.

The Jazz is experiencing a similar trend as their offense improves and it’s worth keeping an eye on.
