Houston Rockets:

Offense:(114.1) 2nd
Defense: (109.1) 17th
Net: (plus +5.0) 7th

Games Week 11 (2-0): Won vs Nuggets: 130-104, 76ers: 118-108
Games Week 12 (3games): Weds at Hawks | Thurs at Thunder | Sat vs Wolves

A big week and two impressive victories over squads noted for their talent and defensive prowess. And yet, are these victories more a statement of the Rockets playing well or the regression of the defense of late for both the Nuggets and 76ers?

James Harden put on a show this week with 35 against Denver and 44 points versus Philly. In the latter case, he also delivered a triple-double 11 assists and 11 rebounds. His perimeter shot is on fire hitting for 60/60/66.7 and 50 percent through his last four games.

And therein lies the rub when they are hot from the perimeter they feast but if opponents run them off the line or hold them under the league average they are a middling squad. For the moment the arc is on fire and the Rockets have claimed seven wins in their last nine games.
