Defense: (111.9)  24th
Net: (minus -7.0) 27th

Games Week 11 (1-2): Won vs Blazers: 117-93, Lost to Suns 112-120, Clippers: 132-135
Games Week 12 (4 games): Tues at Lakers | Weds at Jazz | Fri vs Pelicans | Sun vs Heat

The Knicks pushed the Clippers to the brink and almost stole a game at Staples. The most notable aspect in the game is the 45 points they posted on LA in the opening frame.  In the match, they had three solid quarters also winning the final frame 32-21 but by virtue of giving up 47 points in the second quarter, they handed the game right back to LA.

Marcus Morris put up 38 points against the Clippers and while Julius Randle may have delivered more consistent scoring production you have to believe Moriss is the more coveted asset. Teams looking for grit and scoring punch will undoubtedly be calling the Knicks brain trust to inquire about their bevy of bigs.

What Steve Mills and Scott Perry elect to do at the deadline could very well determine if they keep their jobs. Or for those who believe they are simply Jim Dolan’s puppets then it might be a moot point what they do.
