B. . PG. Oklahoma City Thunder. CHRIS PAUL

The typical Chris Paul game was on display and in truth with two of his teammates having out of their mind games that’s all that was required.

CP3 took over late and there is a palpable feeling even as the viewer that his calm demeanor resonates throughout this team. They trust him – know he’ll make the right play and that more than anything allows everyone to just play.

Paul finished with 10 points, four rebounds, three assists, and a steal. It wasn’t a banner shooting night (5 of 15) – but again it didn’t need to be. When it was his time to affect the game he took over and everyone fell in behind him to close out the match.

G/F. Oklahoma City Thunder. SHAI GILGEOUS-ALEXANDER. A+++.

I mean — come on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was simply brilliance in motion in this match. As noted up top, there are centers and power forwards (and really talented ones) who might play their entire careers and never register a 20 point -20 rebound night.

Shai delivered that along with 10 assists for his triple-double. I’ll save most of my accolades for the three takeaways but suffice to say for any NBA fan who didn’t know who Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was prior to this game (or opponent for that matter) they do now!

The game ball goes to SGA along with our awe over how easily he collected those stats tonight – because he truly does make this game look easy.
