In a week where the OKC Thunder recalled Justin Patton the OKC Blue had a 1-2 record.

The OKC Thunder recalled Justin Patton to the varsity squad but also assigned Deonte Burton for a game. The Blue lost their first game to the surging Austin Spurs and while they had really balanced scoring night against the Spurs but it was not enough.

DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell led all Blue scorers with 17 points. Three Blue players had 16 points, Devon Hall, Abdul Gaddy and Sedrick Barefield off the bench. Myke Henry had 15 points and Markel Bron had 14. Unfortunately, the Spurs won 117-108.

The next game was against the Raptor 905 and the Blue had a commanding victory 120-97. This was the Markel Brown show, Brown poured in 24 points off the bench on an incredibly efficient 7-of-9 from three. He did not take a shot inside the arc all night.

In another very even scoring night, six other Blue players had double-figure nights. Patton was back with the team and scored 15 points, as did Akoon-Purcell. Devon Hall had 13 points, Kevin Hervey had 12 and Henry had 11.

Abdul Gaddy had a double-double with 11 points and 11 assists. The Blue point guard is second in the league in assists per game for the G-League. Deonte Burton was less than his usual impactful self, scoring eight points on 4-of-10 shooting.

The final game for the week was against the Northern Arizona Suns where the Blue suffered another big loss 108-93. Devon Hall almost had a double-double with 26 points and seven rebounds.

Only three other players made it to double figures and in a quirk of numbers, all of them scored 15 points. Brown once again only took 3-point shots going 4-of-9 from deep for his 15 points. Gaddy and Vincent Edwards were the other two players to reach this number.

The Blue were without Luguentz Dort and Kadeem Jack all week. Dort was with the OKC Thunder and Jack is still recovering from injury.
