It would be remiss to not at least touch on the fact of how detrimental injuries can be to a team. Any team — even one that’s reached the finals in five successive seasons.

The big losses, of course, were Klay Thompson and the untimely hand fracture of Steph Curry, but the injury bug has run rampant in Dub Nation.

Just as the Warriors looked to be potentially finding a groove with four consecutive wins, injury struck again. Kevon Looney has missed the last 10 games and is out indefinitely with an abdominal injury.

D’Angelo Russell (shoulder contusion) missed six games but returned for the game versus the Grizzlies.  Stephen Curry has also been witnessed starting to get up shots but is still a way off from returning to game action. Still, this is about the best injury news the Dubs have experienced in months.
