10. team. 79. . 27-15. Previous: 13th. Dallas Mavericks

Dallas Mavericks:

Offense: (116.1) 1st
Defense: (109.1) 16th
Net: (plus +7.0)  3rd

Games Week 13 (3-0): Won vs. Warriors: 124-97, Kings: 127-123, Blazers: 120-112
Games Week 14 (3 games): Tues vs. Clippers | Thurs at Blazers | Sat at Jazz

Other than the OKC Thunder the team who can afford (both figuratively and literally) to remain status quo or take a swing at the trade deadline is the Dallas Mavericks.

Because it’s only Luka Doncic’s sophomore season and first playing with Porzingis owner Mark Cuban can elect to remain status quo if he so desires to allow the duo to foster their chemistry.

Or he could direct his brain trust to find a player with adept playmaking skills who can help Luka and Carlisle address the clutch time offense because it seems to be the ONLY thing holding up the next step.

It’s probably best to let Luka get his feet wet first with an initial appearance but if there is an organic fit with long term potential then Donnie Nelson can make that move too.

This season was never about winning the Larry O’B — it just became a talking point because of how quickly everything started coming together.
