The OKC Blue is back in town going 3-0 on the week and moving up the standings. This is mostly without the services of some of their top players who were called up to the OKC Thunder.

Despite losing several of their top players to the injury-depleted OKC Thunder the OKC Blue went 3-0 on the last week. They even managed to move up to 10th on the standings, leap-frogging their first opponent of the week, the South Bay Lakers in the process.

On a night where the defense was not the highest priority, the Blue took care of the Lakers 149-140 behind the massive break out game of Justin Patton. He had 46 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists, and six blocks and got a call up to the OKC Thunder squad as a result.

Devon Hall had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. He missed a triple-double by three assists. Myke Henry had 21 points, Vincent Edwards had 18 and DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell had 13 points in the win.

In the second game of the week, the Blue scored 149 points for the second time in two games. They did not have Patton, they did it on having a balanced scoring lineup. Sedrick Barefield led the scoring off the bench with 29 points, Akoon-Purcell also had 22 off the bench.

Hall had a second solid game, scoring 22 points to go along with eight assists and five rebounds. Myke Henry had 21 points and Vincent Edwards got the start, rewarding the Blue with 17 points. Kadeem Jack had a double-double off the bench with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Markel Brown had 11 points and Kevin Hervey had five points to go along with 12 rebounds. This was a total team effort and this led to a 32 point victory against the fifth-place Stockton Kings, winning 149-117.

Then on the second night of a back-to-back, the Blue took down the fourth place Santa Cruz Warriors, 129-125. They were in control for most of the game and held off the Warriors late, despite only eight players being dressed,

Abdul Gaddy had his best night of the season with 27 points. Kadeem Jack had a massive double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds. Hall appears to have found his rhythm scoring 23 points in the win.

If the Blue can keep this up, they will be close to the team to beat. That is, once they get all their players back from the OKC Thunder.
