A. . PG. Oklahoma City Thunder. DENNIS SCHRODER

It’s beyond the point of obviousness of who the best player each night is for the OKC Thunder off of the bench. Dennis Schroeder has become the front-runner for Sixth Man of the Year and he turned in another nice game tonight. He scored 21 points and had eight assists. Give this man his trophy already.

Best Opponent:

. PF. Atlanta Hawks. JOHN COLLINS. B+

John Collins scored 28 points and was very efficient in doing so. He is one of the many young and talented pieces this Atlanta Hawks team has. It will be fun watching him and this team grow through the years as they get better.

Of note, a nice moment when Hawks Vince Carter subbed out late in the game as it’s likely his last visit to Chesapeake. Carter will turn 43 on January 26th and is the first NBA player to appear in four different decades. This is VC’s 22nd season as a pro and as noted during the broadcast he ranks second behind Robert Parrish all-time for games played.
