OKC Thunder: Season high assist tally not enough for OKC Blue
Abdul Gaddy hit a league-high assist total and DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell delivered season-high scoring but the OKC Thunder affiliate OKC Blue still lost.
The OKC Thunder affiliate the OKC Blue scored 140 points but it was not enough to take down the Texas Legend who won the game by four points. This was despite two monster games from team leaders Abdul Gaddy and DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell.
In the week that Gaddy broke the OKC Blue all-time assist record, he then had a G-League season-high of 20 assists on a night where scoring was not a problem for anyone on the team except the Blue floor general.

Gaddy went 6-of-20 from the floor for the first time he struggled from the floor in living memory. Despite the 20 assists, Gaddy will not be happy with the shooting due to the Blue losing. He will respond like a true professional next game. Unfortunately, this is not for another eight days.
