Keys to the game:

The key to beating the Kings is to keep them down the NBA rabbit hole they have gotten themselves into. They are top 15 in two categories in the entire league.  Yes you read that right, they are top 15 in the league in JUST TWO CATEGORIES.

These are 3-point shots attempted (11th) and 3-point shots made (14th). This tells me that they play without an identity and it is impossible to win with any regularity without one. This seems to be an issue with their coach Luke Walton.

Walton was sacked from his Los Angeles Job last year, the team was only successful due to LeBron James. The Kings have been occasionally good but he has not been able to galvanize the group Just look at what the OKC Thunder has been able to achieve short-handed.

Good system basketball will win the day nine times out of ten against the Kings. If Chris Paul plays then the Thunder has a good shot, particularly as they are getting some players back.

The key matchup of the game is between Hield and Luguentz Dort. The rookie has taken on some of the biggest names in the NBA and defended them well. Hield has been a thorn in the side of the Thunder most times they have met.
