The Detriot Pistons are in fire sale mode, and the Cavs seem lost

Now things get fun, two teams that should be selling, and honestly, selling fast. The OKC Thunder can take advantage of this situation if they want to. The Pistons currently sit with an 18-34 record, and the Cavs are buried even further only being on top of the Atlanta Hawks, with a 13-38 record.

Both franchises have surrendered this season, despite the Pistons having a very outside shot at the 8th seed. Detriot is rumored to be shopping point guard D-Rose, and big man Andre Drummond. In the first shocking news of the deadline season, we found out last night Luke Kennard could also be on the move.

Adrian Wojnarowski woke the NBA world up with a midnight tweet about the Pistons and Suns getting close to a deal involving Luke Kennard. It must be really hard being a Pistons fan, my heart goes out to all of them.

Blake Griffin‘s knees sadly feel like they will never get right. You have to move on from Andre Drummond, there are rumors the asking price for Rose are too high, and now you are shipping Kennard for nothing?

For the Cleveland Cavs, I for one am not sold on either of their young guards. Kevin Porter Jr. has been a nice addition. Kevin Love is a disgruntled big man that desperately wants out, and Tristan Thompson also seems to be on the move with a ton of teams showing interest.

Is there a trade here that works? I really don’t know. I don’t think Love, Thompson, Rose, or Drummond move the needle for the OKC Thunder, nor would ever happen.
