A+. . PG. Oklahoma City Thunder. CHRIS PAUL

In the final frame with the Pistons on a run and all the momentum, they cut the lead to four points. The ensuing plays were Chris Paul drawing a foul – hitting both free throws and then connecting on a jumper in the very next offensive set to push the lead back to eight.

It’s these plays that point to his calm effect and leadership that can’t be undervalued. If you think back to the loss to the Mavericks when CP3 didn’t play it’s hard not to think if he was on hand the Thunder would’ve won – – he literally has that much of an impact on this teammates.

His final box offered up 22 points (team-high), six rebounds, seven assists, and a block. He shot an efficient 7 of 11 from the field and 7 of 8 from the line.

A-. . G/F. Oklahoma City Thunder. SHAI GILGEOUS-ALEXANDER

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continues to feast in the month of February, scoring 21 points in this match along with two rebounds, an assist, and two key blocks.

After producing several double-doubles lately, his two rebounds were the fewest he’s grabbed since November 29th versus the Pelicans.

His game has grown so much — we’re almost guilty of expecting more from him but another solid effort and a win will suffice on this night.
