Sacramento Kings:

Offense: (107.7)  21st
Defense: (110.7) 19th
Net: (minus-3.0)  23rd

Results Week 15: (2-2) Won at Wolves: 133-129 (OT), Clippers: 124-103, Lost vs. Thunder: 100-120,Lakers: 113-129

Games Week 16: (3 games) Mon vs. Timberwolves | Fri vs. Heat | Sat vs. Spurs

The Kings continue to vacillate between good and bad weeks. Sacramento can’t seem to string together extended winning streaks. They have losing streaks of five, six and eight games but the longest win streak is three games which they’ve done once all season and five times have collected back to back wins.

Granted injuries have hampered the club but notably, the club who wore the glass slipper last season seems to be sporting heavy boots this year. Maybe that’s why they aren’t playing with the vaunted pace that was part of their killer recipe last year.

As the trade deadline looms it’s hard not to suggest they raise the white flag — but it’s also understandable why the fan base would prefer they don’t.

Bottom line – a return to that fun speedy crew would be preferable to the viewers and might be what the team needs most in order to build for the future.
