As Charles Barkley pointed out this week — how a team plays on the road is indicative of how strong they are overall. The TNT panel went on to comment on how a team’s weaknesses stand out more on the road then they do at home.

Philly is now 9-17 on the road which is an issue all on its own but dive a little deeper and those specific problematic issues noted above become clear. In 10 of their road losses, the 76ers have failed to score 100 points. Two others went to overtime and in another, they scored 104 in their losing effort.

Not only do the 76ers have issues scoring but their defense doesn’t travel. These are issues Elton Brand will need to address this week prior to the trade deadline. The question is will Brand concede his current starting rotation doesn’t work as assembled and that the Sixers depth isn’t conducive to fixing those issues?
