Khris Middleton had a night against the Wizards dropping 51 points and snagging 10 rebounds. That performance occurred without Giannis Antetokounmpo playing. Moreover, it was the first time since 1961-62 that teammates produced double-doubles featuring 50 points in the same season. It happened twice in that season as Lakers Elgin Baylor and Rudy LaRusso, as well as Bob Pettit and Cliff Hagan of the St. Louis Hawks, reached that benchmark.
For those who believe the Bucks are a one-man squad the fact Middleton is currently shooting the prestigious 50-40-90 benchmark says otherwise. Mind you it was the Wizards who Middleton’s performance was against so it’s not like there was any defense to stop him.
