An interesting few weeks for Karl-Anthony Towns who wasn’t happy with the trade of Robert Covington and didn’t hold back from showing his dissatisfaction via social media.
Flash forward to the trade deadline and he was at the airport welcoming his BFF D’Angelo Russell at the airport. When the dust settled the roster added eight players including Malik Beasley, Juan Hernangómez, Allen Crabbe, James Johnson, Omari Spellman, and Jacob Evans. Evan Turner will likely be bought out.
Evan Turner did not attend Wolves press conference today. Both sides discussing a buyout. Wolves are going young. The vet Turner would like to play for a contender, so the options are being explored.

Moving forward, the spotlight is squarely on KAT now. He can’t simply stamp his feet, get the franchise and Gersson Rosas to appease him and then not deliver.
That means playing on both sides of the floor and as week 17 highlighted – that sure isn’t the initial result of the trade. Rather, it’s looking more like the Wolves will be the Wizards of the West.
