125. . 15-39. Previous: 24th. Atlanta Hawks. 25. team

Atlanta Hawks:

Offense: (105.3) 26th
Defense: (113.4) 27h
Net: (minus -8.1) 27th

Results Week 16: (2-2) Won vs. Wolves: 127-120, Knicks: 140-135 (2OT), Lost vs. Celtics: 115-123, (at) Celtics: 107-112
Games Week 17: (2 games) Mon at Magic | Weds at Cavaliers

The Hawks didn’t just go out and gain a center they added two via the trades for Clint Capela and Dewayne Dedmon. Plus another player (Skal Labissière) who could conceivably play backup power forward or center.

Another odd choice unless Trae Young was adamant the franchise add pick and roll partners to pair alongside the point guard.

Perhaps the Hawks believe their ascent up the ladder requires numerous bigs to stop the likes of  Joel Embiid (76ers), Bam Adebayo (Heat), Giannis Antetokounmpo/Brook Lopez (Bucks), Marc Gasol/Serge Ibaka (Raptors) and Domantas Sabonis/Myles Turner (Pacers) for example. And that’s not including the Magic, Nets, Bulls, and Wizards who all have bigs who can cause Hawks problems.
