38. . 24-31. Previous: 19th. Orlando Magic. 18. team

Orlando Magic:

Offense: (105.5) 27th
Defense: (107.4) 7th
Net: (minus -1.8) tied 19th

Results Week 17: (2-0) Won vs. Hawks: 135-126, Pistons: 116-112 (OT)
Games Week 18: (1 game) Fri vs. Mavericks

You have to feel for Aaron Gordon who quite possibly has two or three of the most creative dunks in the history of All-Star weekends. Couple that with more perfect 50 scores than anyone before him.

For those who said Derrick Jones Jr. had a better dunk package and showcased more power, I’ll counter with one question – how many dunks did he do that didn’t involve putting the ball under his leg?

The point is – these things happen – they both put on a show but after it felt like Gordon could’ve won in Toronto against Zach LaVine this one had to sting.

Moving forward – with his team clinging to the eighth seed in the East, the forward could use his snub as motivation. He says he’ll avoid any future dunk competitions in favor of the 3-point contest. With the Magic desperately in need of consistent offense, his best revenge would be delivering consistent offense to help push the Magic up the ladder.
