The OKC Thunder continues to rise in the West standings as they face the juggernaut of the Milwaukee Bucks. Gameday breaks down the match.

The OKC Thunder travels to Milwaukee to take on the best team in the league. The Bucks hold 50 wins, the earliest playoff berth in modern NBA history, they’re top in defensive rating (101.7) and top in net rating (+11.6).

They really are one of the most successful teams that we’ve ever seen. It should be no surprise why they’re the favorites to make the NBA Finals.

However, the question hovers whether their regular season prowess will translate to the playoffs. The OKC Thunder, on the other hand, continue to show up and show out. Writing themselves into the history books as well. They’ve won nine consecutive road matches which is the most in Thunder history. OKC is also on course to reach 50 wins which the franchise hasn’t achieved since the 2015/16 season when Kevin Durant was with the team.

Both the Bucks and Thunder were underestimated coming into the season but are now reaping the rewards of their persistence.

If you’re a basketball fan there’s nothing more you could ask of this matchup. It is going to be an electrifying match not just because the Bucks have a pre-game ritual honoring The Rock, but also because these two sides are so much fun to watch. They’re both going to make deep playoff runs and have talented players including All-Stars and an MVP.

OKC is more than capable of beating the Bucks. The last time they played against them was in November when they went down by only two points.

This time they’re an even better team and look to come out on top. With that being said, let’s have a look at the keys to the game.
