OKC Thunder get crushed by visiting Clippers: Grades
By Sinjin Snope
Solid night from Chris Paul against his former team. CP3 scored 14 points and dished out 7 assists. Although he had a nice stat line, I am sure CP would rather his team got the win tonight. He’ll have OKC ready for the game’s going forward.
Shai was just okay against the team that drafted him on this night. The second-year guard scored 15 points and also snagged 6 rebounds. He shot the ball well tonight but struggled to contain Kawhi Leonard on the defensive end. Not exactly the easiest of defensive assignments.
An okay game from the rookie sensation Lu Dort. He did an alright job playing defense against the Clippers’ dynamic duo. Also, despite scoring just 7 points, Dort led the OKC Thunder with a positive +11 differential, which is hard to believe in such a lopsided affair.
Gallo started off the night hot, but then quickly faded as the game went on. He scored just 15 points and missed 2 free throws, which is very uncharacteristic for him. Rough night for Gallinari and his Thunder teammates.
Not the greatest game for Steven Adams. The Big Kiwi scored just 4 points while grabbing 10 rebounds. He could not contain a ferocious Clippers attack and didn’t really impact the game on the offensive end.
