Two superstars:

When playing the LA Clippers, if they are fully healthy, the first player to stop is always going to be Leonard. The truth of the matter is Leonard is probably going to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer when he retires.

This season he is averaging 27.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game. He is shooting 46.5 percent from the floor, 36.6 percent from deep and 89.9 percent from the line. On top of this, he is one of the best defenders in the game.

The second player to watch out for is Paul George. OKC Thunder fans know how damaging George can be. He is averaging 21.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He is also having an incredibly efficient season from deep shooting 40.1 percent from outside.

The issue the Clippers have with these two players is the amount of time they have missed. Leonard has missed 13 games of the season and George has missed 22. This is the main reason the Clippers have not been nearer the top of the standings and are not as feared as the Los Angeles Lakers.

Two sixth men candidates:

They are in the position that is in part due to their one-two combination off the bench. Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell will go down in history as one of the best bench duos of all time. Together they are averaging 37.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 7.6 assists.

To beat the Clippers it is not enough to stop one of these players. It is imperative that two of these players are slowed down often enough that the OKC Thunder can then pull out a win.
