The OKC Thunder are traveling on the second night of a back to back for the second set of games. This time they face a struggling Detroit Pistons team.

We all know what happened when the OKC Thunder traveled to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks on the second night of a back to back. If you don’t know, the Bucks belted the Thunder to the tune of 47 points thanks to their length and athleticism.

Unfortunately, this back to back did not start as well as the last one against the Sacramento Kings and the Bucks. The Thunder were 6-0 in the games after they lost by double digits. This means that the Thunder lost by double digits consecutively for the first time this season.

Fortunately, this is unlikely to happen against the Pistons. In fact, they do not have many players that can hurt you anymore. They traded their franchise center Andre Drummond to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In return, they got John Henson, Brandon Knight, and some picks.

They also moved on from point guard Reggie Jackson who missed most of the season through injury. The Pistons bought out the former OKC Thunder sixth man in an effort to look at players they want on their roster next season.

This is where the OKC Thunder needs to be extremely careful. They are playing a team full of players with nothing to lose and potential careers to gain. The Thunder are playing for playoff seeding, the Pistons are playing for their potential livelihoods so they will be desperate.
