Celtics danger players:

The list of dangerous players for the Celtics is a lot smaller than usual thanks to injury. Young star Jaylen Brown is out versus the Thunder thanks to a hamstring injury. Veteran Gordon Hayward is also questionable due to a knee injury.

However, the Celtics still have plenty of star power that can hurt the opposition. Kemba Walker carried the Charlotte Hornets during his time there. Since moving the Celtics, Walker has produced the same incredible basketball with so many better players around him now.

He is averaging 21.0 points, 5.0 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game. Walker is shooting 38.6 percent from deep on 8.8 shot attempts. He takes more than half his attempts from distance. Walker is also money from the line, getting there 4.6 times a game and making 86.9 percent.

The Celtics can also hurt you through first-time All-Star Jayson Tatum. He is leading the team in scoring, averaging 23.6 points per game. Tatum is also one of the most complete players in the game, averaging 7.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game.

Tatum is taking 7.1 shots from deep and is hitting 39.8 percent of them. He is a true inside/outside player and at 6’8″ is tough to match up on, particularly thanks to the incredible athleticism he shows every game.

There is a third player who can hurt you when you play the Celtics. Marcus Smart is an incredible defender who is averaging 1.7 steals per game. He starts the Celtics defense and has been a major factor in why they hold teams to 106.9 points per game, third in the NBA.
